Scalloped Oysters

In a greased. shallow baking dish place a layer of crumbs. 1/2 cracker & 1/2
Bread crumbs to total 1 1/2 cups.
Cover with layer of oysters (1 pint-we prefer small oysters). Also minced
parsley and finely chopped celery (about 1/4 cup)

Season with salt & pepper; Dot with butter.
Add on more layer of crumbs; oysters; etc.
Pour on top 4 TBL each of cream (ie:half & half).and Oyster liquor.
Cover and Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

Note: Nice to serve as a side dish at Holiday time. My family really likes
this. I've not eaten it but am just going by what others say. Enjoy.
