Italian Baked Chicken

1/2 c. mashed potato flakes
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
Grated Parmesan cheese
1 lg. egg
(3 lbs) checken breasts

Mix potato flakes, oregano, basil, salt, garlic powder, pepper and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. In pie plate beat egg and 1 teaspoon water. Dip chicken in egg mixture then coat with potato flakes. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place chicken skin side up in pan. Sprinkle chicken with remaining potato mixture. Bake 40 minutes.

Serve with garlic bread, pasta and green salad
